Frequently Asked Questions

If it is indicated in the item description that automatic bidding is allowed, you can assign the system to act as your proxy and to bid on your behalf. Every bid placed by you will be considered by the system as the maximum amount you have agreed to offer. Such maximum amount will be kept confidential from other bidders, and will be shown only to you. The system will automatically bid on your behalf with such minimum bids (up to the said maximum amount) that would allow you to remain the highest bidder. Any bidder placing a bid, which is lower than or equal to your bid, will be automatically outbid by you.
Unlike in many other auction web-sites, by choosing to "buy now" on this web-site you will not automatically become the winner of the auction.  If you choose to "buy now", you will be deemed to have placed a bid in the amount which is equal to the "buy now" price. The auction will not automatically end, but the auction end time will be set to 10 minutes.  You will become the winner of the auction at the "buy now" price if you are not outbid by the end of the auction.
We accept questions only prior to the commencement of the auction. You can submit your question using the online form under tab "Clarifications", at the bottom of the item description page. We will promptly communicate all questions to the seller, and will post all clarifications received from the seller at least four hours prior to the commencement of the auction. The clarifications will be available to all bidders.
If a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes, the auction end time will be automatically extended for 5 minutes.
Unless otherwise specified in the description of the item, the participation in auctions is free of charge. Apart from paying the participation fee, if any, you will be required to make a security deposit.
The auction end time is automatically extended for 5 minutes if a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes. This must be reason why the auction end time was extended.
No, you have to bid responsibly. Every time when you place a bid, you will be requested to re-confirm your bid, and it is your sole responsibility to make sure you have entered a correct amount and are willing to place your bid.
In order to participate in an auction, you will be required to make a security deposit in the amount specified in the description of the relevant item. The security deposit will be released to you if you do not win in the auction or if you no longer want to make bids. If you win, the security deposit will become non-refundable and will be deducted from the price you will have to pay for the relevant item.
